Backyard Cricket Re-Invention Fails To Re-Invent

The long promised Backyard Cricket re-invention by the Kiley-Finamore-Parham consortium failed to have any real impact on the way cricket has been played.

The promised revolution materialised in the form of an Australian Commonwealth Games Blazer from Kuala Lumpor. While the blazer did bring a new dimension to the coin toss, it could not be said to revolutionise the game in any fashion, although could perhaps be said to have revolutionised the fashion of the game.
